A new trend chart on the Spending page shows how your spending accumulates from day one of the financial cycle — with the previous cycle drawn alongside as a dashed reference line.

A cumulative spending trend chart compares your current financial cycle to the previous one, day by day — with a per-category breakdown.

Am I spending more this month, or less?

It's the first question most people open a personal finance app to answer mid-cycle. A spending total alone doesn't help — without last month's context, it's hard to tell whether 4,200 PLN three days after payday is too much or about right.

The new trend chart answers it directly. Your current financial cycle climbs as a solid line from day one; the previous cycle is drawn alongside as a dashed reference. On the same day-five, you can see at a glance whether you're above or below where you were last cycle.

What does “By category” mode change?

The second mode breaks the chart down into your five largest categories plus one combined “Other” line. Each category gets its own color and a chip below the chart that toggles it on or off — flip them around to see what's actually driving the curve in this cycle.

The chart also respects your custom financial month start — if your cycle begins on the 27th, day one on the X axis is payday, not the first of the calendar month. A 28-day February compares fairly to a 31-day March. Click a point on a steep day and the chart opens that day's transactions, so any spike is one tap away from being explained.

No. The dashed previous-cycle line is hidden in category mode to keep the chart readable — that view focuses on what's driving spending in the current cycle.

By total spending in the current financial cycle. Everything else collapses into a single “Other (N)” line that you can toggle on or off just like any individual category.
