Do I really want to import 800 transactions blind?
CSV import is the fastest way to load your transaction history, but it had one weakness — until you clicked 'Import', you didn't know what Martia had actually parsed. Dates in the wrong format, negative amounts flipped positive, descriptions cut off halfway. In the old flow you had to import, inspect the result, delete it, and start again.
Now you see everything before anything lands in the database. Martia parses the file, shows a table of the first transactions and a summary: how many rows detected, which currencies, the date range. If something looks off — step back and swap the file. One click, no mess to clean up.
How does Martia read a file from any bank?
Instead of keeping separate parsers for mBank and ING, we built a universal parser that reads your CSV headers and figures out the columns on its own — date, amount, description, sender, recipient. It works with any Polish bank that exports CSV. If the file doesn't include an account number (IBAN), you get a simple picker and manually point at which account the transactions belong to.

While we were in there, we also added inline category editing directly in the spending table — click a category, type a few letters, confirm.

The preview shows the first 50 transactions plus a summary of the whole file — total row count, currencies, and date range. That's enough to catch format errors before you confirm the import.
Any Polish bank that exports CSV — mBank, ING, PKO BP, Santander, Revolut, and others. The universal parser infers columns from the headers. For Revolut and mBank we also provide dedicated step-by-step screenshot guides.
You get a picker with your Martia accounts — manually choose which account the transactions belong to. Useful for savings account files where IBAN isn't always included in the export.
